According to the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT), research indicates that couples and family counseling is helpful for relationships. Greater than 75% of couples were better off than those in the same situation that did not receive counselling. The couples that went to counselling reported a “significant” improvement in relationship satisfaction.
Although it may take a few sessions to feel connection between psychotherapist and client, our practice strives to have our client needs met. Yes. Our practice uses software mediums such as OnCallhealth and RingMD.
No. Psychotherapists are not trained to prescribe any medication however; therapists can refer any of their clients to seek medical attention from their respective family physician as needed. Therefore, at TEP we care and put your safety first; and promote both your health and further recovery.
At our practice, we try our best to have our clients seen as soon as they contact us. We also prefer not to have long waitlists.
